At Because Science, we celebrate the intersection of science and art, which includes music! Stop by and make your own instrument to take home. We'll also have fun sound demos to help you "see" sound. All activities are free and hosted by your neighborhood science nerds at Because Science on Columbia Road. Adults and children are welcome to participate and the activity is best for kids over 5.
AdMo Vibe is a series of free, outdoor concerts featuring local musicians in Kalorama Park on Columbia Road, NW. Concerts will be held on Wednesday evenings throughout the month of August from 6-7:30 pm. On August 23, the musical artists are the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra and will be playing video game music (and, video games are another excellent example of science + art together) so we'll be there at the concert with our demos. This event is at Kalorama park, NOT at our storefront.
Tickets are not necessary to participate in this activity. If you do get tickets, you'll be able to add the event to your calendar and receive reminders.
