Foxy Pride (Black/Copper) - SMT Soldering Kit

These have been designed for people who already have a bit of through-hole soldering experience, and want to learn or practice surface mount soldering.  They feature a fun and colorful circuit board with a variety of components.  When you're finished, you have a fun ornament that you can wear as a pin or stick to your fridge with a magnet.  These projects will typically take 30 mins to 2 hrs depending on experience.

Details:

• uses large 1206 parts and SO-8 chips (IC's)
• comes with lots of LEDs - choose your own colors to make your own blinking "flag"
• choose either a white fox with purple solder mask or a black fox with clear solder mask (resulting in a copper-colored body)
• A 555 timer and a decade counter create a sequential flashing pattern

You will need to provide your own soldering iron, solder, and soldering materials.
