This necklace makes a perfect gift for the science-loving geek in your life!

I hand cut a piece of circuit board into a circle. It nestles under a layer of clear resin, which forms a beautiful domed top coat. The circuit board charm is 5/8" (16 mm) tall. It sits with a cute gear charm and Swarovski crystal bead. The necklace is attached to silver chain that is 18 inches (46 cm) long. If you'd like something longer, leave your request in the message box at checkout.

Pick the circuit board charm color as you add this to your cart: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and dark brown are available. If you want to choose a specific circuit board charm, just let me know and I'll send a photo of currently available charms. Also choose the state (washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and California are available). In the message box at checkout, indicate the crystal bead color you want. If you don't specify anything, I'll choose the same color as the circuit board charm.

Your necklace will arrive attractively packaged ready for gifting!

  • Resin is remarkably durable. However, if needed, polish resin (and metal) with a soft cloth. You can use gentle abrasives (like a silver polishing cloth)

  • Prevent tarnish by storing in an air-tight container

  • Adjust cuff bracelets by supporting the circuit board in the palm of your hand and moving the bands. Do not squeeze/tighten the band while the bracelet is being worn

Circuit Breaker Labs

Handmade by Scientists and Artists

Every project starts with broken electronics

We primarily work with computer motherboards and we find ourselves enamored with their color. It’s how they’re made, so we build our designs around the colors we can find. Orange and purple are the rarest.

Hand and computer-operated tools shape the circuit boards

This router, for example, enables us to carve even the most intricate designs that would be impossible by hand. This also ensures that we can perfectly capture your logo, pet silhouette, or skyline.

Finished by hand

Finishing work is done meticulously by hand so that we can ensure every piece we send out meets our quality standards. Fragile items are packed with care to ensure a safe arrival, and small items are always gift-boxed.

About Us

Because Science is a love letter to all things STEM, particularly the fusion of art and science. A lot of the products you’ll find here and in our shop are handmade in our very own design lab, while some are the brainchild of other creators. We celebrate it all because science literally makes the world go ‘round.
