We provide everything you need to color your design and turn it into a space-inspired button or magnet.
Who Can Join:
Recommended for young space explorers who love coloring, creativity, and making their own souvenirs. Great for ages 5–12, with younger children welcome when accompanied by an adult. Our staff will operate the button press for younger participants, while older kids and adults are welcome to help press their own creation.
Registration:
No advance registration is required, but signing up helps us estimate materials. This drop-in activity takes about 5–15 minutes, so feel free to stop by anytime during activity hours.

Getting Here & What to Expect:
All events take place inside the Craft Lab at Because Science, our retail shop located at 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC (across from the Line Hotel in Adams Morgan).
Look for the squiggly rainbow mural! Enter Because Science and walk to the back of the store (between the biology and anatomy sections) to find the entrance to the Craft Lab
Metro: We're a 10-minute walk from the Woodley Park (red line) or Columbia Heights (green line) Metro stations.
