Make Your Own Creepy Halloween Terrarium! 🎃🕷️

Create your very own creepy, spooky Halloween terrarium! Build a miniature haunted scene using rocks, moss, dirt, and tiny Halloween decorations. Choose between a spooky decorative terrarium or a living terrarium with real plants!

We’ll provide all the materials and guide you through the process so you can create a one-of-a-kind Halloween scene to take home.

Two Options to Choose From:
🎃 Basic Spooky Terrarium – $16: Includes a 4-inch container, terrarium materials, and spooky Halloween decorations.
🌱 Living Halloween Terrarium – $39: Includes a 6-inch container, live plants, terrarium materials, and Halloween decorations.

Family-Friendly: Adults and kids are welcome to join the fun. Younger children may need help from an adult.

Take-Home Project: Take your creepy creation home and enjoy your own miniature haunted world!

Includes Materials: We provide everything you need to create your terrarium, including the container, natural materials, and Halloween decorations. Live plants are included with the $39 living terrarium option.

Registration: No prior registration is necessary, but it will help ensure we have enough materials for everyone.

Getting Here & What to Expect:
All events take place inside the Craft Lab at Because Science, our retail shop located at 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC (across from the Line Hotel in Adams Morgan).

 Look for the squiggly rainbow mural! Enter Because Science and walk to the back of the store (between the biology and anatomy sections) to find the entrance to the Craft Lab
 Metro: We're a 10-minute walk from the Woodley Park (red line) or Columbia Heights (green line) Metro stations.
 Bus: The D72, D74, C51, and C53 buses stop nearby.
 Parking: Street parking is mostly limited to 30 minutes—walking, biking, or ride share is recommended. There is a parking garage located at 2421 18th St NW, about a block away.
