This statement rings so quote as a woman in a male dominated field. I sometimes find myself consistently feeling like I have to prove myself over and over again or putting unnecessary pressure on myself to perform consistently at an extremely high standard, I can also be a workaholic.
Today, especially with this week being National Engineers Week, I am reminding myself that I’m a badass Software Engineer. I not only design and write code that is efficient, I know how to ask the right questions to ensure I’m thinking of future features and enhancements.
Have you found yourself feeling inadequate career wise or in your personal life? Any advice on how to deal with this? Reminding myself of the things I’m great at usually helps me with this.
If you haven’t seen it yet, go checkout my stories for the word of the day, the music and also scripture to get you going.
