Happy *New Science* Friday

Happy *NEW SCIENCE* Friday!

The Enchantress of Numbers

This past Tuesday, October 12th, was Ada Lovelace Day. This holiday represents a chance for everyone to celebrate not only this honored mathematician and pioneer computer programmer, but also the advancements of the many women who have followed in her shoes.
As a women in science myself, I find a great deal of inspiration in the life and works of Ada Lovelace. Check out our Women in Science series for art related to Ada and several other significant women in STEM.

As a mathematician with a sense of style, we think Ada would have a soft spot for our Math themed accessories- Fibonacci necklaces, Pi wristlets, prime birthday cards and more!

Meet Sherria Anthony

From : Sherria

"Hey, y'all! I'm Sherria, founder of #UnravelScience. I'm an Oglethorpe University alumni that studied biology.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love reading! You're likely not to catch me carrying a book of some sort. Lately, I've been rotating between swooning for YA books and improving my overall health with self-help books. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I started Unravel Science to find others like me and create a community of open-minded individuals passionate about science. I wanted to create a safe space where one could step outside of their 'normal' literary comfort zone and potentially learn something new in the process."
