Ignite your child's creativity by introducing them to programming through fun, hands-on digital tools that empower them to be creators rather than just consumers. With apps like ScratchJr and OctoStudio, developed by the innovative minds at MIT Media Lab, kids will build animations and interactive projects, making learning an exciting adventure. Sign up now and watch your child unleash their imagination while mastering essential coding skills!
This workshop is best for kids aged 6-9. Unlike our other hands-on activities, this is a group workshop that starts at 1pm pm and runs the full 90 minutes. You're welcome to drop your child(ren) off for the workshop and pick them up at 2:30pm.
Note for Parents: Participants need to bring a tablet or phone (brought by your child, no device sharing unless siblings) and it's charger. Please download ScratchJr and OctoStudio before the class.
This workshop is led by Nina Mortazavi, a tech expert with over 11 years of experience as a researcher, software developer, and product manager.
