Join us for a creative resin art experience led by local artist Tarsha Parks. In this hands-on class, you'll learn a unique resin technique and create a complete one-of-a-kind artwork from start to finish. Whether you're new to resin or looking to expand your skills, this workshop offers expert guidance and plenty of creative freedom.

Details:

Includes All Materials: We provide all resin, pigments, tools, and supplies needed to complete your artwork.

Two-Day Art Process: Your artwork can be fully completed during class, but resin requires additional curing time. This is considered a two-day art piece, and participants will need to return the following day to pick up their finished artwork.

Optional Shipping Available: Can't make it back for pickup? We can ship your completed artwork for an additional $15 fee.

Who Can Join: Open to adults of all skill levels.

Registration Required: Advance registration is required. Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Walk-ins may only be accommodated if space is available and the class has not been canceled.

Please Arrive On Time: Arrive by the scheduled start time so everyone can participate in the group instructions and safety overview together.

Getting Here & What to Expect:
All events take place inside the Craft Lab at Because Science, our retail shop located at 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC (across from the Line Hotel in Adams Morgan).

 Look for the squiggly rainbow mural! Enter Because Science and walk to the back of the store (between the biology and anatomy sections) to find the entrance to the Craft Lab
 Metro: We're a 10-minute walk from the Woodley Park (red line) or Columbia Heights (green line) Metro stations.
 Bus: The D72, D74, C51, and C53 buses stop nearby.
 Parking: Street parking is mostly limited to 30 minutes—walking, biking, or ride share is recommended. There is a parking garage located at 2421 18th St NW, about a block away.
