Slime lovers, this one is for you! Join us for Slime Lab Sundays, a special series of messy, sensory-filled slime adventures happening on select Sundays.
Each session features a different slime creation with exciting textures, colors, and mix-ins that participants will get to make themselves and take home. Whether you're a longtime slime enthusiast or trying it for the first time, there's always something new to discover in the lab.
This Week's Slime Adventure: Get ready for a fireworks-inspired slime experience! This week's slime creation will feature festive firework-themed mix-ins that capture the excitement of a summer fireworks show. Create your own dazzling slime and take it home to enjoy.

Who Can Join: Open to everyone—adults and kids welcome! Children under 5 will need parent or caregiver assistance.
No Registration Required: Just drop by during activity hours. While registration isn’t necessary, it helps us prepare materials and lets you easily add the event to your calendar.

Getting Here & What to Expect:
All events take place inside the Craft Lab at Because Science, our retail shop located at 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC (across from the Line Hotel in Adams Morgan).
Look for the squiggly rainbow mural! Enter Because Science and walk to the back of the store (between the biology and anatomy sections) to find the entrance to the Craft Lab
Metro: We're a 10-minute walk from the Woodley Park (red line) or Columbia Heights (green line) Metro stations.
Bus: The D72, D74, C51, and C53 buses stop nearby.
Parking: Street parking is mostly limited to 30 minutes—walking, biking, or ride share is recommended. There is a parking garage located at 2421 18th St NW, about a block away.
